Employer Partners

The Power of Community and Collaboration

At EDvance College we work directly with community-based early childhood programs as Employer Partners to recruit, support, and graduate our students. This unique partnership allows us to build intentional pathways and enables students to earn college credit for their work experience, making education more accessible and relevant to their careers. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for student degree attainment and career advancement, helping to build a skilled, diverse workforce that supports the growth and success of young children and their communities.

Employer Partners are an integral part of making higher education attainable for working educators. An EDvance Employer Partner is a licensed or license except early childhood program serving children ages 0-5, which may include:

A publicly-funded/subsidized school district

California State Preschool Program (CSPP)

Head Start/Early Head Start agency

A Family Child Care Provider Association/Network

County Office of Education

Regardless of the type of agency, EDvance Employer Partners share an interest in supporting the development of their existing ECE workforce in degree attainment as well as creating new opportunities for those wishing to enter the field.

Employer Partners commit to ensuring that educators work a minimum of 15 hours per week for 15 consecutive weeks while enrolled in EDvance College and work with EDvance staff to ensure student success.
