At EDvance College we are committed to making higher education more accessible and inclusive for working early childhood educators. Our admissions process takes a holistic look at your work and academic experience to assess if EDvance College is right for you.
Prospective students will need to submit an EDvance College application. The application is short and should only take about 10 minutes to complete.
You will need to submit official transcripts from every institution of higher education you have previously attended. Contact your admissions advisor if you need support with this step.
Complete an EDvance Education Plan by having a 1-on-1 Advising Session with an Admissions Coordinator. Your Education Plan will help identify the appropriate cohort for you and the next available start date.
There will be a few items prospective students may need to complete, including:
● Grant Application
● Employment Verification
● Language Assessment* - Some students may need to take a language assessment as part of their admissions process depending on prior education and background experience.
EDvance Bridge is a comprehensive program to equip students with the essential tech skills needed for success as full-time college students at EDvance College. Students engage in a 3 badge program including in-person technology setup sessions, online badges, and needs-based support. These online badges include:
● Digital Literacy for Higher Education
● Canvas Mastery
● Zoom Proficency
Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis through notification letters from the Director of Admissions.
EDvance’s virtual cohort kick off provides students with the opportunity to interact with their cohort and the EDvance team to create a sense of belonging while preparing to kick off their EDvance College journey.
