Celebrating Our First Graduation: Highlights and Interviews

EDvance College is excited to share the success of our first graduation ceremony, held on May 9, 2024, at the beautiful Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. We celebrated the achievements of 22 graduates who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence in early childhood education.

During the ceremony, our students Loren Smith and Megan London delivered inspiring addresses under the theme "Roots, Wings, & Growth." These speeches encapsulated the transformative journey that defines EDvance College.

We were honored to host esteemed speakers such as Supervisor Myrna Melgar, Director of the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood Ingrid Mezquita, and Alumni Speaker Melissa Serrano. Their words highlighted the significance of education and growth in shaping our paths.

The keynote address by Dr. Ashley C. Williams was a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility to advocate for the early childhood workforce.
